Do I need a non-return valve and if so where do I put it?

Each of the pressure systems comes with a non-return valve. It is built into the electronic controller of the constant pressure systems so you won’t see it. On the air tank systems it will come in the box and must be fitted to the inlet of the pump. This is extremely important as your system cannot run correctly without it. You may need a second one way valve on the lowest point of the suction line if you are pulling water up from a level lower then the pump, this will keep the suction line primed full of water.
